The "SUB-ALERT" IFAS-8B is a professional 1X8 rack-mounted ("IF" or 4.5 MHz) switch and was specifically designed for EAS switching requirements of cable operators. The passive feature of balancing individual switched output levels with a standard SXP(T) pad is "Unique" only to the IFAS-8B series switch. This feature allows the IFAS-8B series switches to be balanced without disconnecting any cables. Best of all, the IFAS-8B switches do not have to take up any additional rack space. Because they are passive, externally powered and produce virtually no heat, they can replace an existing spacer panel. |
