The StreamBridge™ CR30 family of metadata and data translation systems for digital cable or terrestrial broadcast is designed to bridge legacy architecture with new digital media and information streams.
The StreamBridge CR30 Digital EAS enhances existing analog and digital EAS headend systems to support OpenCable™ compliant digital cable ready devices. StreamBridge CR30 Digital EAS receives the emergency alert messages from an existing EAS receiver and converts them to appropriate SCTE 18 messages for insertion into the digital multiplexes delivered to homes. These messages direct the Open Cable devices to either display a text crawl or force tune the receiver to a details channel. |
