Description:
The MX-AVR-8 is a Stereo Audio and Video Router with 8 inputs and 4 outputs.
MX-AVR-8 operates in two possible configurations, either stand-alone or slaved. In the stand-alone mode, you may connect the switcher hardware to an Ethernet connection and remotely connect to it via our easy-to-use AVR-8 scheduling software. This makes good use of the AVR-8 even when you are not using a MediaXtreme media server system.
In the more powerful slaved configuration, AVR-8 connects to our MediaXtreme media server series via Ethernet or RS-232. In this mode, the scheduling software will control the matrix router, GPI/O events and the MX media playlists. This makes scheduling of complex events easy.
An integrated CPU with “fail-safe” technology automatically senses video loss and will switch to pre-programmed defaults to keep you on the air. Even more, it will return to the scheduled input once video returns. Advanced downstream connectivity for external events can be handled through four programmable GPI/O or a USB port.
Best of all, the AVR-8 comes with Keywest Technology’s unsurpassed TotalCARE warranty, which covers the hardware, software and support for one full year and may be extended up to five years. |
