The Grass Valley ViBE line is the most efficient and compact digital content delivery platform available, combining encoding, MPEG processing, multiplexing, and network adaptation functions in a modular chassis.

The ViBE Encoder is a real technological breakthrough combining unprecedented compactness and flexibility with high-end compression performance and picture quality.

Based on the brand new Nextream 3G-video compression chip, ViBE Encoder is available in two chassis models. The 1 RU ViBE Encoder, with up to two encoding functions, and the 5 RU Telecom chassis, with up to eight encoding functions, allow multiple service generation and intra-chassis redundancy.

The ViBE Encoder offers 10-bit encoding to ensure high video quality, embedded network interfaces and supports remote control and command through the Grass Valley XMS™ 3500 management system.
