The design of the MediaLynx enhances scalability by making it easy to add QAM channels as demand grows, thereby lowering the initial cost of ownership for in-service video QAM equipment.
The MediaLynx is based upon VCom’s industry leading VistaLynx Edge QAM technology. Each unit receives digital video carried over IP and remultiplexes, QAM modulates and upconverts this data according to user specifications. The QAM modulator is configurable to perform either 64 or 256 QAM modulation. The upconverter is frequency agile between 88 and 900 MHz. Fully tested and interoperable with industry leading networking equipment, the MediaLynx is a key element in delivering the next generation of video. |
