Description:
The active ASI splitter DTS 397 distributes the electrical input data stream (DVB/ASI) to 8 electrically equivalent outputs.
One ASI test port is located on the front panel.
The DTS397 has a redundant ASI input.
In case of an error of the standard ASI input the internal ASI input control will switch to the redundant ASI input automatically.
The DTS 397 is equipped with 2 internal power supplies.
FUNCTION
The input data stream can be composed byte-wise and/or packet-wise according to DVB.
The MPEG-2 data in the ASI signal stream is available at the outputs as packets.
Signal processing in the ASI interface is done according to DVB, Asynchronus Serial Interface (ASI).
Only MPEG data meeting the MPEG-2 standard ISO/IEC 13818-1 is transmitted. |
