Description:
The Model R175 and R176 are Stereo Audio/Video Switches that provide 2x1 (A/B) balanced stereo audio follow video switching during the vertical blanking interval. The 2x1 switch will respond to a contact closure, a transistor switch to ground or a compatible logic level. The control input is buffered to eliminate high output current drive requirements of the controlling device. Both switches require a valid video signal on the primary input to switch.
The video ouput from the switch is buffered to drive 75ohm cable. The Baseband stereo audio is switched via dry contact relays.
The R176 also has an audio input for -20 to +3 dB DTMF commands for switching the A/V inputs. The code sequence may be entered using a standard Touch Tone telephone during setup, and is stored in non-volatile RAM. |
