Cue Tone Encoder for Remote Switching
|
 |
| Part Number: R-103A, R-107A |
Description:
The Model R-103A and the R-107A Cue Tone Encoder is the preferred method of sending control signals over audio grade links.
Front panel pushbutton switches, or screw terminal connections on the rear panel for remote contacts, initiate the DTMF® cue tone sequence. When the contact is released, the sequence begins. Included relays allow the cue tones to be placed on interrupted program audio if desired, or on a separate voice grade audio sub-carrier.
The model R-107A adds the ability to automatically generate preroll and timed switching transmission for ease of customer use. The R-107A has front panel mounted controls to allow the first set of cue tones sent, to send the second set of cue tones in the sequence automatically, after a selected length of time.
Indicator lights on the front panel verify that the tones generated are the proper sequence.
Remote indicators may be switched from screw terminals on the rear panel. |
