Description:
RouterWORKS Windows-based® router control software provides control and monitoring of any size routing switcher in the Leitch portfolio of routing products and provides a clear, graphical representation of the switcher and its status.
RouterWORKS combines the flexibility of the most powerful hardware control panel with the simplicity of a graphical user interface. RouterWORKS may be used as the only controlling device, or it may be used in parallel with traditional hardware control panels. RouterWORKS will report the status of the router regardless of who or what initiated the change.
RouterWORKS provides three different “views” of the routing system, all of which support the creation and execution of crosspoint salvos. An Active Salvo Display window provides the user with real-time statusing of all active salvos in the system. RouterWORKS connects to the routing switcher system using a standard RS-232 or RS-422 serial interface. Multiple control stations may be used to control the same routing system. For remote router-control applications, RouterWORKS may be configured to control a router via a dial-up phone line using a pair of Hayes-compatible modems.
